Signing support for life’s most important documents — brought to you.
A Texas Notary Public and certified Loan Signing Agent specializing in mobile estate-planning signings across Rockwall and the surrounding DFW area. I coordinate and facilitate the signing process according to the requirements of your documents and the instructions provided by your attorney or document provider — calm, organized, and at your door.
Estate-planning paperwork often has to be signed exactly right — in front of a notary, with witnesses, and in a particular order. When you or a loved one is home, hospitalized, or receiving hospice care, the last thing you need is to gather everyone in a busy office to get it done.
I bring the appointment to you. I review the signing requirements ahead of time, coordinate witnesses when your documents call for them, and provide notarial services as applicable — so the signing is organized, unhurried, and handled with care.
Last will & testament signings, including self-proving execution when applicable.
Statutory / durable financial power of attorney.
Appointing an agent for health-care decisions.
Advance directives / living wills.
Guardian designations made in advance of need.
Deeds that transfer real property on death.
The affidavit that accompanies many wills.
Other estate-planning documents requiring notarization and/or witnesses.
Not every document requires notarization or witnesses — the requirements depend on the specific document and the instructions provided with it. I follow those requirements; I do not decide what documents you need.
Estate-planning signings in your home or another appropriate location — on your schedule, evenings and weekends included, across Rockwall, East Dallas, and the surrounding DFW area.

Bates & Co. Closings is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal document preparation, document interpretation, or estate-planning advice. I do not draft or interpret documents or decide how you should structure your estate.
My role is to coordinate and facilitate the signing process according to the requirements of your documents and the instructions provided by you, your attorney, or your document provider. If you don’t yet have your documents prepared, an estate-planning attorney or a reputable document provider can help you create them — then I’m glad to handle the signing.
I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas and may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.
