Texas caps the notarial act itself at $10 per signature; any remaining amount covers travel and convenience.
Local travel within 20 miles is included; long-distance trips are billed at your service fee + $1.25 / mile beyond 20 miles.

Rush / short-notice service: +$50.
Holiday appointments: +$25 (minor holidays) / +$50 (major holidays).
